Watami Sushi Bistro in Nortd Ogden

First time we went I was very impressed. Great sushi, low cost. Second time I went in, I went in at 8 and they told me they could only do take out and then turned their open light off. Google and door say 9:30.

Delicious sushi. Quiet servers.

We've been to many sushi places in Ogden. My wife and I agree this is one of the bests!

Good food. Service is okay. Takeout is the best way to go. I've never had a bad roll and I've had everything on the menu at least four times over.

Great food at a great price

Loved Watami. The rolls are so good and very inexpensive for what you get. The servers were attentive and adorable. The presentation was perfect. The only "specialty" roll we got was the spider, because most specialty rolls aren't true to the sushi ethos. We got a good variety of rolls, and they were all great. The place feels really good. Easy to be there. I'll definitely go again.

Please just fix your website. If you say your open and I drive 20 mins to get here amd you closed its infuriating.

WATAMI! Is the best! Cheap and close! The rainbow and New York roll are so good! And the cream cheese wantons are to die for! Also if you like spicy do the red devil roll is where it’s at! Love the owner too! We love her vibe!

Cheap, delicious and fast. I could eat the Las Vegas, Red Devil and Sunshine rolls every day.

Amazing food quick easy pick up

Initially I'm skeptical of most sushi places that advertise half price rolls. However Watami was wonderful! The whole environment was beautiful and service was great. I got five different rolls and was equally content with each one.

Really love this place, great food for being so close by to home. Didn't have to worry about waiting for tables or anything. The service to get our actual rolls did take sometime but it was a little busy when we came in and we ordered a lot. I'll be coming by again for sure 👍

Excellent sushi! Their bento boxes and teriyaki are great as well. Highly recommend!

Really good sushi for a great price. Tho if your in a hurry you might want to rethink it. They only have one chef and usually a mostly full restaurant.

It's getting worse and worse. After tonight, we are done getting sushi here. We usually do take out. Tonight we ordered $60 worth of sushi. And very disappointed. Many of our rolls were in a large tray, which is fine...but they must have put the sushi in first and then drizzled the sauce. Our salmon skin rolls were smothered in eel sauce. Our eel rolls had no eel sauce. They went to the extra effort to separate our spicy CA rolls in a different container than our standard CA rolls. But there was zero difference between the two kinds of rolls. And the lady who seem to be in charge there is so very impersonable and rude. Bummer...because this is close to our house and we love sushi.

Allergy sufferers beware they will not take you seriously. The menu speaks nothing of spicy mayo on one of their rolls. So I ordered it assuming I was okay. They brought it with spicy mayo as well as the Mayo touching another roll I had ordered. I told the waiter that I had an allergy and that I can't have the spicy mayo and this was why I ordered no wasabi as well. So he took the roll back. Removed it from the plate and brought back the other roll that still had spicy mayo on it. I could hear the chef arguing with him about it. Serious food allergies are a real thing Also the food took an exceptionally long time to get to begin with. Will post photos as well

This little joint is so fun. Tonight we ordered the dinner salads and the shrimp tempura for starters. The ginger dressing on the salad is mild and tasty. The tempura comes with three jumbo shrimp, sweet potato, zucchini, broccoli and onion. The batter on the shrimp is sweet. I was satisfied at that point. But we still had three rolls coming including the jumbo spicy Cali roll, the hot and sexy roll and the baked salmon roll. All of them were amazing. I’ve eaten at some great sushi places across many states and this place stacks up! The service was outstanding tonight and the price is right on. Total for the entire meal for two was $34 before tax. Nice job Watami!

Really good authentic Japanese food.

They are located at the front of a small strip mall in North Ogden next to Taco Time. We have eaten there multiple times and hours and the food quality has always been very good. We have a couple of sushi rolls that are our favorites. The atmosphere is open yet welcoming. They always have great service and very prompt. You can't go wrong with this choice, great Asian food.

Veggie tempura is very good. Large pieces of broccoli, sweet potato, and onion with a very crispy light batter.Sushi is good for American-style. Large selection of rolls. Prices are very reasonable.

Sushi is awesome and fairly priced. The service was a little unfriendly but, she is always quick.

It was acceptable, but the sushi seemed somewhat on the smaller side. The yakisoba was better than expected. Overall it was ok.

The sushi was surprisingly good for what seems like a newer place. Also they have deep fried sushi rolls which were actually pretty bomb when I tried them.

Decent "half price" sushi. Only one sushi chef even when they are really busy. So if they are busy try again another time or you will be waiting a while. Otherwise it is a good option for sushi in north ogden.

Ok the food is great and everything but the waiters were so rude we thanked them and they did not respond. After that one of them decided to roll their eyes at me. Great Food terrible waiters

The food is OK and we go there because it is the only sushi place near our house. But the waitress is so rude. Just discourteous and curt and doesn't say hello or thank you. We do take out. And she barely grunts at me when I pay for and pick up the food. It isn't hard to look people in the eye, smile and say hello and thank you. It almost takes more effort to be surly.

This place has some decent sushi for not being a big fancy sushi bar. The prices are great for the quality of sushi they serve. Fast take out wait times, and a nice little environment to settle in to for a while with some sushi and tea. The nigiri pieces are generously large, and only a couple of bucks per order (2pc).

Great Sushi, especially for the price! My Daughter and I frequent Watami, it has become our "daddy-daugher date" spot. I've really enjoyed everything that we've tried there, and my daughter absolutely loves the Gyoza.

Plenty of great rolls to choose from! I love this is an option in the N. Ogden area for 50% sushi rolls. Something so close is great. Never had a problem ordering or with the food. Thank you!
